Terms & Conditions

Once an order is placed, a contract is deemed to exist between buyer and seller and terms are accepted.

We will not accept claims for repairs once the costume has been worn and used for dancing.  We will repair costumes at a cost to the client ( additional cost - customer covering cost of postage to and from us)

We will not accept responsibility for defects arising from wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal use and failure to follow manufacturer’s instructions, verbal or written

We will not accept liability to quality or performance of goods after  first use

The customer is responsible to ensure goods are practical for the purpose intended. 

We are not liable for design misunderstanding. We remain the right to make changes to the design if we deem necessary. Pencil designs do not always translate exactly to finished costume, this is due to proportions and size of client.

The customer must ensure design is fully understood at time of order as not changes can be made once the costume has been started. If a quote has been accepted by the client with the understanding that the original design may differ due to their budget they must understand the finished suit may appear different to original design. For example using less or more crystals than intended in original design.

Any defects prior to first use must be made aware to us by email within 7 days of receiving costume.

Any changes to original agreed design will be charged accordingly

The customer is fully responsible for ensuring all measurements are correct and the onus is on you the customer  take them properly.

All deposits are non refundable once a Design has been drawn and costume ordered.Stoned costumes £250 , starter costumes £100

Cancellations – All pre-payments or deposits will be forfeited.  We can sell a garment to recoup costs

Returns – made to measure costumes - Shine dance wear reserves the right to refuse return.  If a customer receives the costume with any defects we will accept the costume back to fix or replace stones at our discretion (within 7 days of receiving costume) if we deem the damage as self inflicted by the customer we will not be liable to make any repairs. A customers own design will not be able to be returned in any instance.

We advise you DO NOT wash your costume as fabrics used are highly coloured and washing is done at the customers own risk! Stoned and fringed costumes are also NOT washable! If stones come loose all fall from garment after Wear we are not liable to replace these. Re-stoning is charged at extra cost to the customer.
